The official trailer for Once I was a Champion has been released. This is a feature length documentary chronicling the life and death of former UFC Middleweight Champion Evan Tanner.
For those who don’t remember, Evan Tanner was pretty bad ass. Just look at his 32-8 record with 21 subs and 8 TKO’s!
Tanner won the UFC Middleweight title at UFC 51 after stopping David Terrell with strikes in the first round, only to lose it to Rich Franklin in his next bout. Regardless, Evan Tanner will be remembered, and this looks like a great documentary!
